The NUTRI-CHECK NET project will hold its Final Conference on 18 November in Brussels, at the NH Brussels EU Berlaymont Hotel, and also online via Zoom.
It will be an inspiring day dedicated to the theme “Steps to Optimise Crop Nutrition”.
The NUTRI-CHECK NET consortium, bringing together partners from 9 European countries, has been working over the past three years to create a platform for knowledge exchange and innovation. Among its partners, CONSULAI has played a key role in communication and dissemination, ensuring the connection between the European network and Portuguese farmers, advisors, and institutions.
This event will bring together researchers, farmers, agricultural advisors, policymakers, and industry representatives to explore the latest scientific findings and innovative practices in nutrient management.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to engage with experts from across Europe, exchange experiences, and learn about strategies that make fertilisation more efficient, circular, and environmentally responsible.
The programme will feature testimonies from farmers sharing hands-on experiences, as well as discussions with advisors, EUFRAS representatives, and technology companies developing innovative tools for nutrient monitoring and decision support.
The conference will also include contributions from several Horizon Europe projects — LEGUMES, NENUPHAR, STRATUS, NUTRI-KNOW, and LIVESENMAP — showcasing how European research and collaboration are driving the transformation of agricultural systems.
Together, these perspectives will help bridge the gap between science, practice, and policy, highlighting the essential role of cooperation in promoting sustainable nutrient management.
Don’t miss this opportunity to connect, learn, and collaborate towards a more resilient and resource-efficient agricultural future, in Brussels or online!
