National Network of Advisors of the AdvisoryNetPEST project

The AdvisoryNetPEST project, led by CONSULAI, whose main objective is to reduce the use and risks of pesticides, is currently establishing a National Network of Advisors 

In Portugal, the network will focus on horticulture and vineyards. 

The advantages of joining the AdvisoryNetPEST project network include: 

  • Be part of a European network of advisors, specialized in reducing the use and risks of pesticides. 
  • Participation in demonstration and training events focused on the new approaches (one per year). 
  • Participation in field visits in EU countries (two visits per year)

The AdvisoryNetPEST project aims to create a network and upgrade advisory services across the EU to increase the sharing of knowledge and the adoption of innovative solutions to reduce the use and risks of pesticides in all EU Member States The specific objectives of the project are: 

  • Establish a network of agricultural advisors in the EU. 
  • Identify and select new approaches that contribute to reducing the use and risks of pesticides, so that they can be adapted and reproduced in the EU. 
  • Promote knowledge sharing. 
  • Communicate and disseminate these new approaches, encouraging the adoption of innovative solutions by farmers.
