The winning institution, the ADAPECIL – Association of Love for Lourinhã Disabled Citizens Education www.adapecil.pt, an institution with 40 years of experience, was founded by a group of parents and other members of the community, committed to providing appropriate responses to the educational needs of the disadvantaged children of Lourinhã.
The donation of AGRI.DOAR It will be used to refurbish the institution's facilities, to purchase functional furniture, including furniture/wardrobes, ergonomic tables and chairs, as well as to purchase equipment to improve the physical condition of the people supported, such as a treadmill, elliptical machine and stationary bicycle.
A symbolic donation was also made to XXS – Association for the Support of Premature Babies www.xxs-prematuros.com was donated a food basket to Santa Casa da Misericórdia of Almeirim www.scmalm.pt and the possibility of pro-bono legal support was offered to Community Life and Peace www.cvidaepaz.pt, which came in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place in the campaign’s voting results!
