CONSULAI is recruiting a new member for the Research Department as part of a professional traineeship with IEFP.

Position description

• Work in the Research Department at CONSULAI, with special focus on research and data analysis in the agri-food sector.
• Management of agricultural information through digital tools – Excel, PowerBI, Sharepoint, among others – to create added value for our customers and partners.
• Research and investigation of new trends in the agri-food sector, information sources and markets.
• This position corresponds to a training opportunity, so the selected candidate will be closely monitored by his or her area manager, as well as trained in the different tools that will be used.

Responsibilities

• Systematise and analyse data from the agricultural and food sector.
• Collaborating with the different business areas of CONSULAI.
• Collaborate in the preparation of crop operating accounts.
• Follow a training programme for the main computer tools you will use (Excel and PowerBI).
• Regularly liaise with national and international clients and partners.
• Prepare and execute presentations of studies or reports.
• Support the management of climatic, edaphic, geographic, economic and demographic information.
• To support logistically activities of the Studies and Strategy Area and/or CONSULAI.
• To perform duties at the CONSULAI office in Lisbon.

Key skills

• Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, or equivalent.
• Agronomic technical knowledge and interest.
• Strong computer skills and dexterity.
• Good understanding and speaking skills in English and Spanish (mandatory).
• Mastery of Office 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong relational skills with colleagues and clients.
• Good communication skills.
• Problem solving skills with a genuine interest in helping the industry.
