SUMMARY | Challenges and opportunities of supply chains

After a first debate that addressed what will happen and how we can anticipate and prepare for the future to come, CONSULAI promoted a second conversation focused on the challenges and opportunities of supply chains.

In this webinar were present Eduardo Oliveira e Sousa (CAP), Jorge Henriques (FIPA) and Isabel Barros (APED), representing respectively the production, the industry and the distribution of the supply chain agrifood.

The debate was moderated by Pedro Santos and Luís Mira da Silva, from CONSULAI.

As the agri-food supply chain and its interactions are essential for the country, particularly at this time of crisis, it is essential to understand the situation of the different sub-sectors of agriculture, food processing and distribution on an individual basis. It is also crucial to comprehend how capital, product and information flows can respond to the current crisis, and whether they will change (and how) in the future.
