EDIA has requested CONSULAI to draw up a project that defines productivity and sustainability indicators and links them together, in order to contribute to greater sustainability of a Region without compromising its agricultural potential. Thus, a sustainability framework (“Sustainable Alqueva”) was developed to allow self-assessment by participating producers and comparison with regional averages and an independent 3rd party certification model.
