Geographical Area Covered: Concelhos de Alcoutim, Castro Marim, Vila Real de Santo António e as freguesia de Santa Luzia, Conceição de Tavira, Cabanas de Tavira e União de freguesias de Tavira (Santa Maria e Santiago), do concelho de Tavira

Nature of Beneficiaries: Natural or legal persons engaged in the processing of agricultural products, the bioeconomy and the circular economy, as defined in points (e), (k) and (ee) of Article 5 of the Order No. 247/2025/1, of 30 May

Investment: Greater than 10,000 euros and less than 250,000 euros

Support FeesThe grants are awarded in the form of a non-repayable subsidy, according to the following levels and limits:

• More than 10,000 euros and 250,000 euros or less – 50%

• Investments that contribute to improving environmental performance – 70%

Selection Criteria:

• Contribution to the goals of the LDS (Local Development Strategy):

  • Application promoted by priority beneficiary

  • Application that prioritises projects submitted by beneficiaries with a turnover of less than 100 thousand euros in the year prior to the application

  • Bid developed in a disadvantaged area

• Investments in renewable energies

• Internal Rate of Return equal to or greater than the European Central Bank’s refinancing rate (REFI) by at least 1.5%, as at the date of publication of the notice

• Investments aimed at obtaining quality certifications

• Creation of new jobs
