D.1.1.1.3 – Investment in Diversification, Trade and Associated Services

Geographical Area Covered: Municipalities of Cantanhede, Figueira da Foz, Mealhada, Mira, Montemor-o-Velho and Penacova

Appropriation 400 thousand euros in Public Expenditure

Nature of Beneficiaries: Natural or legal persons, provided they are SMEs, within the meaning of Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC

Investment: Greater than 10,000 euros and less than 300,000 euros

Support FeesThe grants are awarded in the form of a non-repayable subsidy, according to the following levels and limits:

• More than 10,000 euros and 300,000 euros or less – 50%

Selection Criteria:

• Contribution to the goals of the LDS (Local Development Strategy):

  • Headquartered in the Territory

  • Prioritization of Economic Activities (Annex II of the Notice of Opening)

  • Investment Amount

  • Youth Initiative

• Renewable energy or efficient use of resources

• Internal Rate of Return equal to or greater than the European Central Bank’s refinancing rate (REFI) by at least 1.5%, as at the date of publication of the notice

• Creation of new jobs

• Statute of Family Farmer or Young Rural Entrepreneur
