Consórcio do projeto Horizonte Europa ATTRACTISS, do qual a CONSULAI é parceira

A CONSULT is taking part in the project consortium Horizon Europe ATTRACTISS, which started 1st October 2022 and brings together 17 partners from 13 countries. Led by Burgenland Business Agency, the project aims to improve the skills, approaches, instruments and governance models of innovation support services of AKIS of the Member States, and CONSULT coordinates the communication, dissemination and exploitation of results.

O ATTRACTISS, abbreviation of Activate and Trigger Actors to deepen the function of Innovation Support Services, has an estimated duration of six years. The objective is to improve the skills, approaches, instruments and governance models of the Agricultural Knowledge and Information System (AKIS) of the Member States.

The role of CONSULAI

A CONSULT coordinates the work package dedicated to communication, dissemination and exploitation of results. This work ensures the sharing and transfer of knowledge among project stakeholders and the exploitation of results at national and European level. Over the last twenty years, the CONSULT developed innovation projects and studies in various areas, supporting farmers and other actors in the AKIS Portuguese.

Innovation support services at the heart of the project

The project aims to boost innovation support services as an integral part of the AKIS, empowering agricultural and forestry associations, consultancies, private sector companies, service providers, national and regional directorates, and research and education entities. These services transform individual innovative ideas into solutions that enable the transition to a more sustainable agricultural and forestry sector.

To achieve this, the ATTRACTISS is creating a network of innovation support services on the scale of European Union, which connects the different AKIS and develop a shared vision and capabilities. The work builds on previous initiatives, broadens the network and fosters an ecosystem of multi-actor approaches and innovative projects. The methodology also provides for institutional dialogue between these services and the managing authorities, which may lead to targeted interventions by the PAC for the integration of innovation support services into AKIS.
