A CONSULT collects responses to a survey European on pastoralism and sustainable agriculture, up to April 30. The questionnaire is from the project Horizon Europe Grazing4AgroEcology, of that the CONSULT it is the national partner, and is aimed at farmers and students in the agricultural and animal sectors.
Who answers the inquiry
The survey seeks to gather the opinion of those who work or study in the sector about extensive grazing livestock farming, one of the practices associated with sustainable agriculture. The survey takes between five and ten minutes to complete and can be completed at pt.surveymonkey.com/r/G4AE-Portuguese.
The responses are anonymous and the results will only be published in aggregate form. Only broad participation allows for reliable information to be obtained, so every contribution counts.
About Grazing4AgroEcology
O Grazing4AgroEcology It is a European project funded by Horizon Europe, The project brings together 19 partners. The main objective is to encourage the practice of pastoralism and to halt the decline of extensive pastoralism that has been observed in Europe in recent years. CONSULT it is the national partner and ensures the connection with Portuguese farmers and institutions.
Extensive pastoralism is at the heart of the agroecological approaches that the project seeks to demonstrate. The responses collected in Portugal and in the other partner countries allow us to understand how producers assess the opportunities and obstacles to adopting these practices, information necessary to design technical and political support tailored to the reality of each country.
Throughout the project, periodic newsletters are published with the progress of the partners, analyses of the meteorological impacts on agricultural practices in different European countries, and innovations in pasture management. The content is available on the project's channels.
Respond to the survey by April 30. For additional information, please contact the project team at CONSULT, through Carolina Ramos (cramos@consulai.com) or of Ricardo Zanatti (rzanatti@consulai.com).
