Geographical Area Covered: Municipalities of Castelo Branco, Idanha-a-Nova, Penamacor and Vila Velha de Ródão

Nature of Beneficiaries: Natural or legal persons carrying out agricultural activity

Total Investment: Under 50,000 euros

Appropriation €249,894.86

Support Fees: The supports are granted in the form of a non-refundable grant, according to the following levels and limits:

• Investments of more than 2,000 euros and 50,000 euros or less – 55%

• Investments in existing irrigation systems – 60%

• Investments in irrigation systems in new areas – 50%

• Investments that contribute to improving environmental performance – 55%

Selection Criteria:

• Contribution to the objectives of the LDS (Local Development Strategy)

  • Value and promote the activity sectors of relevance in the region

  • Agricultural activity on an exclusive basis

  • Tax address

  • Specialised Agricultural Training

  • Project Maturity

• Being a member of a Producer Organisation, Recognised Multi-product Producer Group or Accredited Agricultural Cooperative

• Investments in digital solutions

• Investments in technology for the efficient use of water

• Investments in renewable energies

• Organic Production Method (MPB) or other recognised quality schemes

Relevant Activities: Olive farming, sheep farming, beekeeping, black-eyed beans and nuts
