Geographical Area Covered: Parishes of Aldeia de São Francisco de Assis, Barco, Barroca, Bogas de Cima, Casegas, Cortes do Meio, Coutada, Erada, Lavacolhos, Ourondo, Paul, Peso, São Jorge da Beira, Silvares, Sobral de S. Miguel, Unhais da Serra, União de Freguesias de Bogas de Baixo e Janeiro de Cima, and Vales do Rio

Nature of Beneficiaries: Natural or legal persons, provided they are SMEs, within the meaning of Commission Recommendation 2003/361/EC

Investment: Greater than 10,000 euros and less than 300,000 euros

Support FeesThe grants are awarded in the form of a non-repayable subsidy, according to the following levels and limits:

• More than 10,000 euros and less than or equal to 300,000 euros – 60%

Selection Criteria:

• Contribution to the goals of the LDS (Local Development Strategy):

  • Investment Size

  • Marketing and branding plans

  • Female Entrepreneurship

• Renewable energy or efficient use of resources

• Family farmer or young rural entrepreneur status
