With the aim of simplifying the drafting and analysis of applications for agricultural investments within the current EU framework, the PEPACC General Assembly commissioned CONSULAI to draw up an expert opinion to define a unit cost applied to permanent crops, greenhouses and associated equipment. This work follows on from work carried out by CONSULAI in previous years, namely the updating of unit costs associated with the installation of vineyards under the VITIS programme of the IVV – Institute of Vine and Wine.

Definition of the reference cost associated with the installation of permanent crops: Survey and definition of plant costs for each of the crops. Survey of land preparation operations and definition of their unit cost. Preparation of a specifications document for irrigation, greenhouses and associated equipment, followed by the definition of the corresponding costs. Survey of fertilization requirements for the installation of crops and definition of the associated reference cost.
