This project consisted of a plan to enhance the region's resources, boosted by the availability of water for irrigation (120,000 ha) which is beginning to be exploited, as well as by the favourable climate and soil quality. The future agro-industrial centre aims to present itself as an attractive commercial solution for the establishment of business activities, with positive repercussions on the level of development of the region

• Development of the framework study for the sectoral component (agriculture and agri-food) in the region
• Support in building a conceptualisation model for the park and its Master Plan, using information on the current and potential state of development of the sector. At this stage, it was essential to use the information gathered, processed and synthesised in the previous phase regarding similar or innovative structures currently in operation, as well as the description of the main critical success factors (Benchmarking)
• Presentation of strategic guidelines for an Operational Plan, providing EDIA with a practical, functional and feasible guiding document
