D.1.1.1.2 – Small Investments in the Bioeconomy and Circular Economy

Geographical Area Covered: Municipality of Mafra, the parishes of Bucelas, Fanhões, Loures, Lousa and the Union of Parishes of Santo Antão e São Julião do Tojal in the municipality of Loures, and the parishes of Almargem do Bispo, Colares, Montelavar, Pêro Pinheiro, São João das Lampas, Terrugem and the Union of Parishes of Sintra in the municipality of Sintra

Nature of Beneficiaries: Natural or legal persons engaged in the processing of agricultural products, the bioeconomy and the circular economy, as defined in points (e), (k) and (ee) of Article 5 of the Order No. 247/2025/1, of 30 May

Investment: Greater than 10,000 euros and less than 250,000 euros

Support FeesThe grants are awarded in the form of a non-repayable subsidy, according to the following levels and limits:

• More than 10,000 euros and 250,000 euros or less – 50%
• Investments that contribute to improving environmental performance – 70%

  • Environmental sustainability, upskilling, innovation and digitalisation

Local Products:

• Dairy industry: fresh cheese only
• Production of table and fortified wines: only DOC Bucelas or Colares wine
• Other activities that use, as their main product, fruits such as: lemons, strawberries, Rocha and brownish pears, pink peaches and Reinette apples; vegetables or aromatic herbs
