It has been published Notice of Call for Tender AAC No. 02/2026, under the Environmental Fund, which supports investment in equipment and infrastructure in the fields of energy efficiency, energy production and energy storage in the agricultural sector

Submission of Applications: 27/05/2026 – 30/06/2026 (admitted in order of submission, while stocks/funds last)

Geographical Area Covered: Mainland Portugal

Nature of Beneficiaries: In terms of Order No. 481/2025/1 of 31 December, eligible beneficiaries are:

• Irrigation Associations, recognised under Regulatory Decree No. 84/82 of 4 November

• Milk producers, with REAP registered under the intensive production regime and an active dairy herd in SNIRA

• Agricultural and livestock producers, with active commitments in 2025 under the Efficient Water Use Intervention, created by Order No. 54-C/2023 of 27 February

Appropriation The overall budgetary allocation for the notice is 15 million euros, broken down as follows:

• 7.5 million euros – Irrigation Associations

• €3.75 million – Milk Producers

• 3.75 million euros – Agricultural and Livestock Producers

Investment: Greater than 10,000 euros and less than 250,000 euros

Support Fees:

• Support is provided in the form of a non-repayable grant, with funding of up to 80% of the reference amounts, in accordance with the unit costs set out in the notice

• Application of the de minimis regime, under the terms of the European regulations currently in force

• Maximum support limit per beneficiary:

  • Up to 50,000 euros, for agricultural, livestock and dairy farmers

  • Up to 300 thousand euros, for the remaining beneficiaries

• Energy Efficiency Audit and Certification

• Installation of Photovoltaic Panels

• Climate control systems

• Solar heating systems, supplementing heating systems

• Installation of energy-efficient windows

• Lighting

• Thermal insulation application

• Variable Speed Drive
