Join CONSULAI for the ClieNFarms Project Final Conference

The ClieNFarms project will hold its final conference on November 20th in Brussels at the NH Brussels EU Berlaymont Hotel, and online via Zoom. It will be a day of sharing and discussion dedicated to the theme “A Journey Towards Climate Neutral Farms,” bringing together experts from across Europe.

The ClieNFarms consortium, which brings together 33 partners from various European countries, has worked over the past few years to develop and test systemic and locally relevant solutions to promote climate-neutral and climate-resilient farms across Europe. CONSULAI is part of this consortium, playing a key role in communicating and disseminating the project results.

This event will bring together farmers, advisors, researchers, policymakers, and industry representatives to explore pathways towards climate-neutral and climate-resilient farms in Europe.

During the conference, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the main results of ClieNFarms, including climate assessments carried out on farms across Europe, a catalogue of solutions to reduce emissions, and carbon action plans tested on demonstration farms. Ways to scale up these practices through tools, frameworks, and business models connecting farmers and industry will also be discussed.

The program also includes discussions on the role of research, models, and monitoring systems in supporting smart agriculture, as well as reflections on emerging policies, such as the new Carbon Removal Certification Framework (CRCF), and its impact on the transition to climate neutrality.
