CONSULAI will be present at the 7th Horticultural Colloquium organised by Lusomorango

CONSULAI invites all its clients and partners to participate in the 7th Horticultural Colloquium, promoted by Lusomorango – Organisation of Small Fruit Producers, sponsored by CONSULAI.

This initiative is part of the National Rural Network’s programme, under the theme ‘Strategic Vision for Agri-Food – Knowing to Decide, Planning to Act’, and aims to encourage debate on the major challenges that mark the present and future of the agri-food sector in Portugal.

The conference will take place on 18 July, starting at 9am, at the Sociedade Recreativa São Teotoniense, in São Teotónio, Odemira, under the motto ‘Nurturing the Future’, with a special focus on key areas such as agricultural production, food safety, autonomy and sovereignty.

During the morning, a wide-ranging panel of national and international experts will address central themes such as food security in a global context, research and innovation as a response to food challenges, and the promotion of food sovereignty as a strategic pillar for the future of agriculture and food.

The conference will also include moments of debate, knowledge sharing and networking, involving producers, decision-makers, researchers and companies, with a view to building sustainable, effective and integrated solutions for the agri-food sector.
