Open Call to expand the community network of the H2020 SmartAgriHubs project

The Horizon 2020 project, SmartAgriHubs, in which Consulai is partner and Iberian Cluster leader, has a new Open Call to expand the network of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIHs) and Competence Centres (CC) through direct support to activities related to digital innovation in the agri-food sector.

SmartAgriHubs provides funding for DIHs to develop, create, offer, test and validate their services in the field of digital transformation and innovation. With the possibility to receive funding to cover your eligible costs (70 or 100%), you can also:

  • Become a regional partner for innovation in the agri-food domain,
  • Support preparation & realisation of Innovation Experiments,
  • Be a node of a European Innovation Network.

The SmartAgriHubs Open Calls are organised according to a three-phase programme, PREPARE, RESTART and EXPAND.

PREPARE: Open Call for DIHs that support entities in planning and defining Innovation Experiences for the digital transformation in the Agri-Food Economy. This Open Call closes on 26 May, 2021.

RESTART: Open Call for projects that will contribute to the RESTART of the European Agri-Food Economy through innovation ideas adapted to the new post-pandemic reality. The RESTART Open Call will close in September 2021.

EXPAND: Open Call for DIHs supporting innovations in different areas of the agri-food sector, making European agriculture more competitive, sustainable and digital. The EXPAND Open Call will close in June 2022.

To submit a proposal it is necessary to register and use the templates designated in the PREPARERESTART and EXPAND Open Calls.
