Learn more about rapeseed in the manual Technical Itinerary: Rapeseed Culture, developed by the GO Oleocolza project

The Operational Group Oleocolza, which has as its main objective the study and dissemination of rapeseed cultivation, has launched a manual: Technical Itinerary: Rapeseed Cultivation.

For a better involvement and integration in the Oleocolza project, the operational group has developed the technical itinerary to promote the sharing of technical and scientific knowledge associated with rapeseed cultivation, aimed at all farmers, sector associations, cooperatives, producer groups and organisations, industry and service providers.

The Technical Itinerary is divided into 8 main chapters: Taxonomy and Origin; Economic Importance and Geographical Distribution; Morphology; Main Stages of Development; Typology of Varieties; Soil and Climate Requirements; Mobilization and Quality for Industry.

One of the main objectives of the GO Oleocolza project was the development of this Technical Itinerary to disseminate the results of the project and the culture of oilseed rape to farmers, ensuring an increasing production of oilseed rape, in a profitable and environmentally sustainable way.

The Manual will also be distributed in physical format at Ovibeja 2022!
