The DEMO.net project, funded by the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan, officially announces the launch of the DEMO.net Network, an initiative designed to bring Producer Organisations (POs), technicians and managers closer together by creating a space for knowledge sharing and exchange of experiences.
DEMO.net was created in response to the need to strengthen the competitiveness and efficiency of POs, enabling them to explore innovative solutions, improve internal processes and add value for producers. The project brings together 14 partners: COTHN, CONSULAI, FNOP and INIAV as the core coordinating team, joined by 10 SMEs representing a large part of the country’s regions and the main fruit and vegetable sectors.
At the heart of the DEMO.net Network are the technical visits to POs – unique opportunities for sharing good practices, discussing real challenges and exchanging ideas that can be applied directly in the daily work of organisations. These visits allow participants to observe solutions implemented by other POs, clarify doubts directly with technicians and managers facing similar issues, and return home with new ideas for improving the internal processes of the POs they represent.
The network is now open to new POs wishing to join. The next DEMO.net Network visit, scheduled for 12 December, will be a unique opportunity to experience the network’s dynamic first-hand, learn through practice, and understand how small changes can generate a real impact on production organisation.
Organisations wishing to join the DEMO.net Network and register for the visit can do so via the following link: Join the DEMO.net Network! – Complete the registration form.
With this initiative, DEMO.net reinforces its commitment to building a more collaborative, innovative and organised fruit and vegetable sector, supporting the growth of POs and strengthening the agricultural sector as a whole.
